The Birmingham Black International Film Festival is once again calling for film submissions for this year's Festival due to take place in Birmingham (UK) from Summer 2021. We are seeking films from the Caribbean, USA, Africa, Europe, Worldwide, and of course UK & Ireland. Submissions are not exclusive to people of colour but must either feature people of colour, address minority issues, be produced by people of colour or involve people of colour who have had a significant role in the film's production. Chosen submissions will be screened throughout the Festival and on Festival associated visual platforms. All films selected for the Festival will also be entered into the BIF Festival's awards programme and winners will be announced at the MViSA Awards at the ICC, Birmingham on the 30th October 2021.

As part of your press kit we will need you to provide a screening copy as well as a detailed bio or synopsis. Your submission form must include a short synopsis, program description, short bio and film length Once you have completed your submission form and all required fields for your entry, please post to the address on your downloaded submission form.
On receipt you will be assigned a registration number. Your registration number is unique to you and should be quoted in all future correspondence and any addition items. Be sure to keep a copy of your submission form for your own records
